Terms of Use

The ground rules for using {{site_settings.domain_name}} and ordering from us. Plain language, with the formal bits where they need to be formal.

By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not order from us. You must be of legal age to enter a contract in your province (18 or 19 depending on where you live in Canada).

Use of the site

This site exists to sell Fenix flashlights, headlamps, bike lights, and lanterns to Canadian customers, along with the batteries, chargers, and accessories that go with them. Product information, guides, and articles are provided for general use; they are not a substitute for the manufacturer’s manual that ships with each product.

You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt to break security, scrape catalog data at scale, or use the site to send spam or unsolicited contact through our forms.

Orders, prices, and acceptance

Listings on the site are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy at the listed price. Your order is accepted only when we send a shipping confirmation email; until then, we may decline or cancel an order — for example if a product is mispriced, out of stock, or the billing details cannot be verified.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable provincial and federal taxes, which are added at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices and product specifications without notice. If a price is wrong because of a typographical or system error, we will contact you with the correct price before charging or shipping.

Payment is processed at the time you place the order. To cancel before shipment, email info@canadaflashlights.com from the address on the order. Once a parcel has shipped, the return process under Returns & Exchanges applies.

Shipping

We ship within Canada from Mississauga, Ontario using Canada Post and Purolator. Estimated delivery times are good-faith estimates and not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather, and remote addresses can shift dates beyond our control. The full terms are on the shipping page.

Returns and warranty

Unused, unopened products can be returned within 14 days of delivery under the conditions on the returns page. Defective or damaged items are handled separately under the Fenix warranty, with service performed in Canada.

Intellectual property

Site text, photography, layout, and code are the property of Canada Flashlights or our licensors. Fenix® and related marks are trademarks of Fenixlight Limited and are used with permission. You may view, save, and print pages for personal use; you may not republish, scrape, or build derivative works from the site without written permission.

Reviews and submissions

If you post a product review or send us a photo or comment, you confirm it is your own work and accurate to the best of your knowledge. You give us permission to publish and display that content on the site and in related material. We may decline or remove a review — for example if it is off-topic, abusive, or not about the product.

Disclaimer of warranties

Beyond the manufacturer warranty that ships with each product and the consumer-protection rights you have under Canadian law, the site and its content are provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the site will always be available, error-free, or free of third-party interference. Product specifications are reproduced from Fenix; where the manual disagrees with the site, the manual wins.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or a purchase from us is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian consumer-protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by talking to us is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for instance, when shipping carriers change, when tax rules change, or when our order process is updated. The current version, with the date below, is the one in force. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
